Heidi Sutherland
Heidi Sutherland has toured the world extensively on many popular cruise lines before joining Synthesis Dance Project. She has appeared on ABC network for Walt Disney Entertainment, Tina Novak's Roc Project, Fashion Week's Dance Scene at Club Avalon, Latrix Ball at Roseland Ballroom, LA Dance Invitational, the 2003,2004 and 2005 Elan Awards, UDMA Fashion Expo, and Save The Music Concert benefiting Hurricane Katrina Survivors. As a principal dancer for Synthesis Dance Project, Heidi's recent performance credits include the International Dance Festival, NUDance Now Concert, CT Meets NY Dance Festival, Towson University, Cool NY Dance Concert, and DiCapo Opera Theatre, among other venues.

Tara Lizak-Nixon
Tara Lizak-Nixon holds a BFA in Dance Performance from SMU. Tara has performed at The Elan Awards, The Los Angeles Dance Invitational, The Cool NY Dance Festival, Rick Atwells, "Confession of a Dance Teacher," SoNo Arts Festival, The American Dance Guild, the UDMA Dance Expo and the International Dance Festival NYC. Tara also teaches and choreographs in the tri state area and is one of the two company directors at Look Sharp Inc. in Ramsey NJ.

Traci-Ann Pearce
After attending the dance conservatory at SUNY Purchase University, Traci-Ann is now studying at Marymount Manhattan College and will be graduating in May with a Bachelors degree in Business Management. Traci-Ann has performed at the International Dance Festival NYC, SoNo Arts Festival, Save The Music Benefit Concert and The NYC Choreographers' Ball.

Melanie Kalia
Melanie Kalia has performed in Prague, CZ as a representative of Florida State University before coming to NYC and joining Synthesis Dance Project. She has performed with Radio Disney's Back to Back, Tina Novak's Roc Project, Latrix Ball at Roseland Ballroom, SNL with Christina Aguilera, Fashion Week's Dance Scene at Avalon, 2004, 2005 Elan Awards. With Synthesis Dance Project, recent credits include the International Dance Festival, Dicapo Opera Theatre, Underground DanceProject, WAXWorks and The Gowanus Arts Exchange.

Gina Mazzarella
Gina Mazzarella is a dance major at Marymount Manhattan College. As a member of Synthesis Dance Project, Gina has performed at The LA Dance Invitational, The Elan Awards honoring Susan Stroman, The International Dance Festival NYC, The Cool NY Dance Festival, Save the Music Benifit for Hurricaine Katrina, Dance as Life Volume 1, and The Dancing from the Heart Benefit Concert in Hollywood, Florida. On the musical theater stage Gina has been seen in the Broadway National tour of Crazy for You, Guys & Dolls, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease, Damn Yankees and the Astaire Awards.

Elissa Teperson
Elissa Teperson is currently working towards a degree in merchandising at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She has been studying dance for over 15 years and has had the opportunity to perform at the International Dance Festival, Jacob’s Pillow, and in the off-Broadway production of Vision and Voices, Life from a Woman’s Perspective. She is currently a fit model for Capezio and has done work for Danskin. In 2004, she was an ensemble dancer in the presentation of Collide. Elissa has been training at Broadway Dance Center with Tracie Stanfield for the last 7 years. While performing with Synthesis Too, the junior company of SDP, Elissa has been seen at Broadway Dance Center's Performance Outlet Series, White Wave/ D.U.M.B.O Dance Festival and Artsplash Arts Festival, among other venues. She is proud to now be an apprentice member of the Synthesis Dance Project.

Alana Sampietro
Alana Sampietro has a BFA in Dance and a BA in Journalism from Rutgers University. She is currently a member of Synthesis Dance Project under the direction of Tracie Stanfield. She has performed in The International Dance Festival, The Connecticut Meets New York Dance Festival, The Elan Awards honoring Susan Strohman, and at Townson University. Alana has performed with Ballamore Dance Company, Off Center Dance Theater and Idelyon Arts Opera Company. She was a featured dancer in “Fame” the Musical at the Bardavan Opera House.
